Founding
Ensign Global College (EGC), formerly Ensign College of Public Health, was established on June 8, 2012, and formally given accreditation by the National Accreditation Board to operate as a tertiary institution on 1st September 2014.
Ensign Global College runs the Master of Public Health (MPH) program accredited by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) and affiliated to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). Ensign Global College’s MPH Program is also accredited by the US-based and globally recognized Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). Ensign Global College is a private, not-for-profit, non-sectarian institution of higher education.
The College was founded and is sponsored by Lynette and Robert Gay based on their desire to raise the standard of health and prosperity in Ghana, throughout West Africa, and the world. Ensign Global College embraces the themes of Leadership, Professionalism, and Entrepreneurship. The College is housed at a 50-acre campus along the Volta River in the Eastern Region town of Kpong.
